Wednesday continues to be a blessing through our AWANA program beginning at 6:15 pm and ending at 8:00 pm (August through April). AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which reads:
AWANA emphasizes memorizing and understanding key Bible verses that teach children how to know and follow God. A series of awards reward their achievements at every level. AWANA clubbers look forward to the opportunities each week to share their studies and knowledge of God’s Word in Handbook Time. And no matter their athletic ability, kids have a blast while learning teamwork in Game Time.
We currently have eight classes which include:
| Puggles | |
| 3 Year Olds | |
| Cubbies | |
| 4 & 5 Year Olds | |
| Sparks (2 Classes) | |
| Kindergarten - 1st Grade | 2nd Grade |
| Truth and Training (4 Classes) | |
| 3rd-4th Grade Girls | 5th-6th Grade Girls |
| 3rd-4th Grade Boys | 5th-6th Grade Girls |
Council Time offers powerful devotions and inspiration from adult volunteers. Field trips are also a special treat for clubbers to enjoy a variety of fun activities and fellowship together. Great thanks go to our AWANA classroom, game time, and club leadership!
