Reagan Cooksey

Reagan Cooksey, Pastor
Reagan Cooksey grew up in Walker and San Jacinto Counties and has called Huntsville “home” for most of his life. Reagan came to Northside in August of 1985 as a bi-vocational Pastor until 1993 where he also filled the role of Food Service Captain at TDCJ. In 1993, Northside hired Reagan full time so he could focus on the ministry of Northside Baptist Church. Reagan has had the opportunity of seeing God work at Northside over the last 20+ years to come from a membership of 75 to over 1600 today.  He earned a degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2000. Reagan and his wife, Vicki, have been married since 1974 and have one son, Rodney, daughter in law, Macey and granddaughter, Torey.

Bob Slie

Bob Slie, Youth Pastor
Bob Slie graduated from Texas A&M University in December 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was married to his wife, Kim in January of 1997 and he and Kim came to Northside following their wedding. At that time, Bob was working at Forest Glen Christian Camp in Huntsville, TX and he and Kim began volunteering with the youth ministry here. In March of 1999, Northside Baptist Church hired Bob full time as the Youth Pastor. Bob also takes care of all the multimedia around the church including Sound Booth operation, all promotional materials for the church, and building and maintaining the church website.  He and Kim have two daughters, Addison and Jenna.

Stacey Fisher

Stacey Fisher, Children’s Minister
Stacey Fisher has been a member of Northside Baptist Church since January of 2001. In that time she has served our church in many capacities including committees and in the children’s ministry. She has been the cubbies director in the AWANA program for several years. She has also worked for the Huntsville Independent School District in the Kindergarten department and for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In April of 2006 Northside Baptist Church voted to call Stacey as our first full time Children’s Minister. Stacey is married to Steve Fisher and they have two children, Shelbey and Zac.

Brenda Glass

Brenda Glass, Music Minister
Brenda Glass has been a member of Northside Baptist Church since 1992 when she joined with her late husband, Jr. and daughter, Samantha. Brenda was a part of a professional traveling music group, Heart, Mind, and Soul from 1995 until 2002. In September of 2003, Northside found itself without a full time music minister, so Brenda decided to “fill-in” for the time being. Northside quickly hired her as the Music Director and she leads in that position today.  Brenda leads an exciting style of worship, blending traditional favorites with the most recent contemporary worship songs.   Brenda brings energy and a focus on worship to the services at Northside Baptist Church.

Laurie McLaren

Laurie McLaren, Church Secretary
In January of 2008, Laurie McLaren joined the Staff of Northside Baptist Church as our Church Secretary.  She comes to us having been employed by Huntsville Independent School District at Huntsville Elementary.  We are very fortunate to have Laurie serving at Northside.
